Employee wellbeing is intrinsically link to productivity. Employers across the globe now recognize that protecting and supporting the mental health of employee is vital to the future of their business. In 2021 as a result of Covid 19 pandemic, economic uncertainty, social unrest, anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorders affect more of the workforce than in 2020.

 Mental Health Prediction for 2022-2023

1.      Mental Health support

Business will spotlight effectiveness on mental health support and the return on investment of their initial approaches.

 

2.      Continued mental health issues

The prevailing depression and anxiety in the population will continue to be high as pandemic exist longer than we expected.

 

3.      More focused approaches

A business will starts to have a greater focus on effectiveness in the mental support of workforce

 

4.      Stigma

Stigma will continue to fall because of everyone automatically comfortable in talking about their mental health.

 

5.      Hybrid and remote work

It has found that mental health, work life balance and physical activities all improved as a result of their hybrid work environment. Also work from home increase the job satisfaction. Work from home become the second most important element to compensation and benefit packages, ranked only behind salary.

 

6.      Wellness programs

Employee should have access to a series of wellness programs including closer access to health care facilities

 

7.      Mediation

Western organization tend to follow Vedic mediation teachings to remove the stress and create clarity.
